Some pretty decent product! Pretty nice bud, with a good coating of trichromes, and a nice lighter green to darker brown / purple appearance in swirls. Fairly dense and a bit sticky, but also a bit crispy to the touch, and a spicy, citrus and earth taste / nose to freshen up your surroundings.
A bit tricky to pack in the grinder as the nugs resemble small rocks, but grinds up fairly easily otherwise. A bit fluffy with slight cohesion, it’s not a tough roll but better off with a cone and a tool. Overall fairly average up to this point, but the burn was rather impressive! A nice clean, white ash, smooth burn and nice mellow flavour. Reminiscent of the nose, being more grassy and citrus to the palette.
The high on this one is definitely the main backer behind why this is so popular, in my opinion. A chill and relaxing, heavy calm that sets in slowly and leaves you feeling nice and restful. Definitely a heavier strain, this will also surely boost your mood and leave you on a high-munchie alert.
Overall, Truro definitely has produced a quality budget strain! For about $6 per single preroll too, I can certainly see the appeal, especially over other budget brands that leave you sad about the good old days. Truro may not be the best contender on the market, however they show the east coast growers can still prove a daring competitor to our own BC bud, and in good fashion as well.
