Woody Nelson is a new organic producer under LoFi’s operation, which is a brand I’ve always had good experiences with in the past. And I gotta say, this drop certainly doesn’t disappoint!
Upon busting the seal, you’re greeted with a nice herbal, spicy and earthy nose, with some gassy and sour undertones. Flavour is mostly the same, keeping that grassy spice profile for most of the joint. Rolling was easy, as the bud was very fresh and quite sticky to the touch, doubly so when ground. Overall burned very nice and smooth! Had a little kick but ashed pretty white, with some light gray mixed in. Slight chunks but mostly powdery.
The high was great as well! With a very relaxing, euphoric and focusing head and body buzz, this stuff will keep you awake enough to get your work done, and giggly enough to forget you had anything to do at all. Boasting a balanced effect profile, it’s great if you wish to avoid the anxiety that can come from a Sativa, but still get the focus you’re looking for.
Overall, this is some high quality flower! At the price point, it does leave more to be desired, as brands like 1964 continue to pump out similar or greater quality at a more affordable price. But either way, it was a very enjoyable and nice smoke, and I would definitely recommend Glade Runner to any hybrid enthusiasts! Or to anyone who can’t handle Sativas, but still wants a good daytime smoke. Happy toking everyone!
