Upon opening the jar’s seal, you’re hit by a refreshing wave of maple, brown sugar and sweet, with a hint of citrus. Not the most overpowering scent, but definitely pleasant on the pallet. Nugs are sticky and a bit dense, with a very sativa-looking bud structure. From looks alone, it isn’t the most impressive, but don’t judge a book by it’s cover!

Grinding the weed produces a similar sticky effect, gumming up the grinder and leaving an easy-to-roll puck of weed to work with. Tasty and smooth in both a joint and bong, with a mostly white but slightly peppery ash. Definitely setting a good precedent in having this sort of quality, local flower at such a good price range ($30) and in high quality glass packaging too.

The high was nothing insane either, but it was euphoric, uplifting and relaxing. Definitely a more productive and less intense strain, so if you’re wanting a good flavourful smoke and the ability to still get your work done, Orange Tree is certainly a strain to keep in mind!
